The crimson-dyed sky dappled with clouds
Which the two of us admired
We chased after our shadows
As they rapidly expanded
Towards home

The looming darkness which devours the light
the sound of feathers rustling with nowhere to go
Mismatched, and bursting like a dam
I'm moved to tears

Isolated in the darkness, floating in the moonlight
Waxing or waning, the sun will smile down on us
And shine regardless of the time.
If it lights up the lost crow's moon, then
We'll be able to go anywhere we want,
And step out side-by-side into the dark night.

A flower floats atop the surface–
A lily, swaying fleetingly upon the water,
It's petals transparent,
Only to be noticed once closed,
And laying idle.

Why have you hidden yourself away all at once,
Despite being so breathtakingly beautiful?
I caught a glimpse of your innocent face,
Those eyes cast downwards.

Both waning and waxing in the graceful moonlight,
I'm bewildered by your effortlessly changing form
It seems that I can't shine on my own, but
you, smiling shamelessly as yourself–
That graceful true face,
I'll convey it's radiance to the transient world.

Even if we become lost and lose sight of "somewhere",
And glancing up at the moon leaves our chests in tatters,
The two of us'll be running through the curtain of night
together from now on
